ANNUAL COMPASS
For the owner and their vision. A deep, one-to-one strategic engagement with the owner, developed around their entire project as a whole and its direction over the coming years. The process combines several interviews, property walk-through, workshops and the development of a comprehensive framework for positioning, decision-making, priorities, partnerships and long-term direction, followed by an implementation review.
Coherence cannot exist in a project if it does not exist at the level of leadership. That is why the Compass works directly with the owner: to clarify intent, surface internal contradictions and align vision, decisions and execution over time.

Behind The Scenes
Jean Linda Balke founded Archive of Beauty to bring together more than two decades of work across art, design, creative direction, curation, hospitality and jewellery, and a long-standing interest in how the places, objects and images around us shape what we notice, remember and feel.
Trained initially in an art context, with early exhibitions and awards in institutional settings, her practice has developed across creative direction, communication, cultural research and material work. Her background includes an MFA in Communication Design and Theory, creative direction and curation for Swarovski and TEDx, work in luxury hospitality with Rosewood Hotels, and the founding of the international jewellery brand Atelier Nallik.
Today, she works with brands, hospitality and design-led organisations on questions of culture, positioning and experience. From understanding what is changing in the world around them to defining a distinctive point of view, developing narratives and thinking through how that point of view becomes tangible.
Alongside this work, she continues an independent artistic practice spanning jewellery, objects, writing, research and publishing.
Archive of Beauty brings these strands together: commercial work, artistic practice and an ongoing body of research into beauty, culture and the ways we experience the world.
