This is a deep blue Lapis Lazuli, with a hand-polished front, in a sculpted brass setting made in Florence. There are also spots of Pyrite.
Lapis Lazuli is a complex rock composed primarily of lazurite, which gives it its iconic rich blue color, mixed with white calcite and golden pyrite inclusions.
