A natural raw specimen of Lapis Lazuli held within its mother stone matrix. This unique piece showcases the vivid, iconic blue of lazurite occurring in organic spots, veins, and clouds within a contrasting, unpolished grayish-white calcite matrix. The stone is left entirely raw, highlighting the raw mineral’s natural texture and the interplay between the blue Lapis and its host rock. No two specimens possess naturally identical patterns, ensuring this artifact is entirely singular.
The hammered brass setting is individually crafted around the stone.
Each AOB Artefact is made by hand and exists as a singular object.
