A gorgeous natural Apatite crystal, set by hand in sculpted polished brass to reveal the stone’s distinctive blue-green colour and natural crystalline structure.
Apatite is a naturally occurring phosphate mineral found in a range of colours, with blue and blue-green specimens particularly prized for their clarity and depth of colour. Its crystalline surfaces, inclusions and variations in tone are formed entirely by nature, making each specimen unique.
The brass setting is individually sculpted around the stone, allowing the mineral to remain the focal point of the object rather than enclosing it in a conventional jewellery setting.
Each AOB Artefact is made by hand and exists as a singular object.
Symbolism
Apatite has traditionally been associated with clarity, curiosity, communication and personal growth. In crystal traditions, blue Apatite is regarded as a stone of inspiration and insight, often connected with the pursuit of knowledge, self-expression and a clearer sense of direction.
