A natural Watermelon Tourmaline sourced in Spitzkoppe, Namibia, cut in Florence and set by hand in handworked 925 sterling silver to accentuate its dual-tone pink and green zoning. The frontal side of the mineral has been selectively polished to reveal its color depth, while the back remains entirely raw. No two specimens possess naturally identical patterns or shades. The silver setting is individually handworked around the stone, allowing the mineral to remain the focal point of the object rather than enclosing it in a conventional jewellery setting. Each AOB Artefact is made by hand and exists as a singular object.
Symbolism
Watermelon Tourmaline has traditionally been associated with love, compassion and emotional balance. In crystal traditions, it is regarded as a master stone of the heart, symbolising inner peace, resilience and the release of emotional wounds.
